By making a purchase on this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Purchasing and shipping terms. Please read these terms carefully before making a purchase.

Purchases

By ordering from helenemaroutian.com, you confirm you're at least 18 years old or have guardian consent. Purchases are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to limit quantities, correct errors, or cancel orders with incorrect pricing..

Order confirmation

After placing an order, you'll receive an email confirming receipt, but this doesn't mean your order is accepted—it simply acknowledges I've received it. Acceptance and contract formation happen when you receive an email confirming dispatch.

Pricing and payment

All prices listed on the website are in Euros and include applicable taxes.

Payments can be made via PayPal, Stripe, or bank transfer upon request.

You don’t need a PayPal account to purchase—simply use PayPal to pay with your debit or credit card.

Stripe is a secure platform that allows you to pay directly with your credit or debit card. Rest assured, your card details are not stored.

If you prefer bank transfer, just contact me and I’ll send you the payment details by email. Once your order is confirmed, the artwork will be marked as sold and reserved for you. Please complete the payment promptly so it stays safely yours.

I currently ship to Europe, UK and Canada. If your location is not listed, please contact me at helene@helenemaroutian.com to inquire about shipping options.

Due to current changes in U.S. customs regulations and shipping uncertainties, I’m not able to ship to the United States at the moment. I hope to offer this option again in the future.

Shipping costs are determined by the package size and weight and your location. At the checkout stage, after choosing your delivery address, you will see the total shipping cost before finalizing your purchase.

Orders are usually processed and shipped within 5 working days. Delivery times may vary based on your location (see shart at the bottom of this page).

Your parcel will be shipped with a trusted courier service such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, GLS, DPD, or Czech Post, depending on your location.

For the convenience of local customers, orders can be collected from the studio by appointment, or hand-delivered free of charge if mutually convenient. Shipping within the Czech Republic is also free.

Multiple purchases
If you’re interested in purchasing multiple items, please contact me before completing your payment. I’ll calculate the shipping fees based on the total weight of the package, and you can expect reduced shipping costs for multiple purchases, especially if the paintings work as pairs.

Customs and import duties

When it comes to international orders, it's essential to be aware that customs and import duties may come into play once your shipment arrives at its destination. These charges are on you, the recipient, and can differ depending on where you are in the world.

Navigating customs regulations

To get a handle on what charges and regulations might apply to your order, it's best to get in touch with your local customs office directly. Keep in mind that I'm not in the driver's seat when it comes to these customs and import duties, so it's up to you to stay informed about any associated fees.

Packaging

Rest assured, your artwork will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives safely. With my experience as a professional decorator and having run an Etsy shop in the past, I’m well-versed in packing, shipping, and unpacking a wide variety of items.

Return policy

I want you to truly love your new artwork. If you have second thoughts after receiving it, please contact me within 14 days. Simply pack it up carefully in its original packaging, under insured cover, and send it back to me with full tracking within 14 days. Upon receipt and inspection, I'll issue a full refund, deducting processing fees.

Please note, if the item is damaged during return due to inadequate packaging, the cost will be your responsibility. In the rare instance that your painting arrives damaged, please snap some photos immediately and get in touch. We'll work together to arrange returns or discuss a partial refund, depending on the situation.
