Greeting your inbox with some great news today!

I returned from three colourful weeks in Thailand for a little while now, and let’s just say I’m very grateful for my studio’s most demanding and only companion: my stove. It’s been a cosy welcome home.

I took 750 photos there (yes, really!) to help keep those vibrant memories fresh. The colours, textures, and light have left me buzzing with inspiration.

• The biggest news: My YouTube channel is live!

While I was away, I had a little surprise running in the background—my brand new YouTube channel ⭐️

I scheduled four videos to go live while I was gone. So far, I’ve been enjoying every bit of the process—from planning to filming to editing. The videos are far from perfect (lots to learn!), but as long as I love doing it, I’ll keep going and hopefully get better with time.

I’m sharing the news only today because I just posted my Meet the Artist video:

• Back in the studio

I came home to a studio full of unfinished work, with each piece demanding my attention and pulling me in different directions.

I felt a bit lost at first, unsure where to pick up the thread. But I’ve decided to start with smaller works that help me reconnect with my materials and creative rhythm.

From there, I gradually work my way back to larger pieces as I find my flow again, letting the process guide me rather than rushing to solve everything at once.

• Taking on a new challenge

I’m joining the 100 Day Project this year! If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a global challenge where thousands of people commit to 100 days of creating.

My theme is “100 good memories”

I’ll be working on paper, inspired by one childhood memory per day. I’ve already listed them, and I’ll tackle them in the exact order they popped into my head.

Think of it as a library of ideas, shapes, sketches, and studies, to inspire future larger works.

I hope I can keep up and make it through all 100 days. It feels like a big commitment, but I’m excited to see where it leads.

• Looking back at my autumn exhibition

I’ve published a new blog article reflecting on my exhibition from last autumn. It’s a little behind-the-scenes look at the process, the highlights, and what I’ve taken away from the experience.
