To be honest, it took me a while to get back into painting after the opening. I needed a few weeks to recharge, but now I’m back in the flow—and it’s pure creative madness in the studio! I’ve been playing with small and big formats, trying out new techniques and colours. The studio is officially a mess with all these works in progress. I’ve already had to shuffle things around to make more storage space, but even so, I can see this becoming a problem soon! Working on larger pieces has been something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and I have to say, I’m loving it—even with the challenges it brings. There’s something magical about standing in front of a big canvas, feeling wrapped up in colour, being part of the painting rather than observing a smaller piece from above. It’s such an energising and exciting way to work. I hope these paintings will have the same effect on viewers once they're finished—drawing them in and sharing that energy!
